April 17, 2018 — On Monday, April 16, 2018, Susquehannock High School seniors visited the Stewart & Tate headquarters to get an inside look at the company and the many opportunities the construction industry has to offer.
Hosted by Stewart & Tate and the York Builders Association (YBA), Construction Career Day was developed to help increase high school students’ awareness of and interest in the readily available careers in the local construction industry.
Students learned about the history of the company from President & CEO, Tim Tate, and later broke into groups where they toured the facility and learned firsthand from S&T team members about different aspects in construction including estimating, project management, safety, fleet management and sitework.
York Builders Association serves both the public and contractors in the building and home remodeling industries. Consumers who are looking for information and ideas will find YBA’s extensive database of reputable contractors. For contractors, YBA offers the professional support and member services that help to distinguish the business as a top performer in its field.
