Bituminous Sealcoat

Bituminous sealcoat, or “oil and chip,” is an economically beneficial treatment for low ADT roadways. The two-step, continuous process consists of a bituminous emulsion application followed by an application of crushed aggregate. A pneumatic tire roller then rolls the aggregate. Our sealcoat crews – whose members all offer more than 15 years of experience – are equipped with computer-controlled asphalt distributors and chip spreaders to ensure a driving surface of the highest quality.
